Minute Basketball: GIVEAWAY Results
When we announced the giveaway of Chris Chipak’s fantastic Minute Basketball artwork, the general premise was that we were pretty jazzed. Giving away a piece of original artwork and two runner-up prizes of shirts with that artwork plastered on the front? It’s exciting! In fact, we may have overused the word ‘excited’ in the initial announcement.
Turns out you were pretty excited too!
Just for ganderin’ purposes, here’s another pic of Chris’ fantastic final product.
Since September 21, when we announced the idea of the giveaway, the subscriptions here have skyrocketed, which is pretty cool. Always fun to see your bribes pay off, you know? Well, with the NBA Finals starting tomorrow, today’s the day to announce the final results of the giveaway.
First, a short teaser. Them shirts: looking pretty, pretty awesome.
We did the draw with a random number generator. Those subscribers who shared the news on twitter had their names entered a second time. As a reminder, if you aren’t one of the two shirt winners, you can actually purchase a shirt from us! We bought a few extra, not a ton, but we can always throw in another order right quick if need arises. Get in touch to inquire at either louis.zatzman@gmail.com or samsonfolk@gmail.com, or just to say hi.
Okay, that’s enough teasing. Now the winners!
The grand prize of the original artwork goes to Robel Taame! Just for fun, we’re gonna throw in a shirt for you as well. Send us a pic of where the poster eventually ends up.
And the runner-up prizes of shirts go to Corban and Lyndsay Helfrich! It’s not part of the deal, but we’d love to see how the shirts look when you get them! The shirts are on order now and will arrive in October. We’ll direct them your way immediately.
We’ll reach out to you three at the emails through which you sub to ask about shirt sizes and shipping addresses, but feel free to hit us up and to brag on social media and wherever else that you won.
Thank you so much to everyone for participating and making us feel loved here at Minute Basketball. We’ll be back in a few days with our usual basketball bonanza, but we’ve enjoyed this extracurricular so much that we’ll try to have interactions beyond basketball like this now and again. We’re already excited.
